988, the Chinese Language Radio Station organised and celebrated "World Laughter Day" on 6th May, Sunday in Kuala Lumpur.
This Day is celebrated worldwide by the Laughter Yoga Community to carry the message of health, joy and peace.  It is the vision  and mission of the founder Dr Madan Kataria to use laughter to unite people of the world, to bring about joy and peace and live a harmonious life.

Thanks to 988, the event saw many people turning up to join in the laughter.  There were clowns,  superheroes and mascots to bring fun and a carnival-like atmosphere to Berjaya Times Square.  Simple 'Laugh With Me' placards were found everywhere, with gifts and prizes freely given with just a good hearty laugh.  There were competitions  with cash prizes given out to those who gave the best Loud and Hearty Laugh.

Thank You 988 for celebrating this wonderful FUN day.
Very Good, Very Good...Yeeeahhh

NEW CLYLs in Brunei

17 New Laughter LEADERS FROM Brunei showing off their Certs

Having  great fun with Floor Exercise

Leelee, the person who helped made it all Happened in Brunei
Friday 20th April, 2012. - The day I flew to Brunei at the invitation of Leelee Kong to conduct training for LY Leaders.  I was met by Leelee, who droved all the way from Seria the oil town of Brunei. Funny how I knew it was her, the moment my eyes found her when I came out of the Arrival Hall.  Law of Attraction at work Again!!
It was an International group of wonderful ladies who came for the training, mostly wives of Expatriates working for the Oil Company, based in Brunei.  We also had 2 enthusiastic ladies who drove all the way from Miri and Lambang over the 2 days!!
Some wonderful feedback from the ladies on LY were recorded:
"The laughter Yoga session was great. It was wonderful to see that laughter was able to bring people from different cultures and backgrounds together.
This is indeed the hallmark of being a child. As a child, we make friends and laugh easily. This brings us happiness, health and greater efficiency in our work." -Dr. Loh

"....giving me a new set of tools to share with others as well as a sense of fun, an awareness of the people in your life and how much you laugh/don't laugh with them, and the skills I have now to change that. And a sense of achievement for doing something challenging." - Sarah

I must record my thanks and appreciation to Leelee who worked tirelessly to get the group, as well as arranging the venue and my accommodation.   It is only through her tremendous effort that we can spread Laughter to Brunei. VERY GOOD, VERY GOOD..YEAH!!!!
